I have not been writing my blog, or really keeping up with my site for the last few months. I appologize for that, but it's been a difficult year as far as racing is concerned.

My real problem is that I have not been able to come up with any sponsorship money to race on the professional level this year. It has forced me to fall back on amatur racing for the time being. I have a friend who runs a team in Koni Challenge, but in his spare time he races on the amatur level in what is called a Spec Racer Ford. So, long story short he got tired of me complaining about not having anywere to race, so he talked me into joining him in the Spec Racer. His team, BGB Motorsports, bought another Spec Racer for me to drive and I've been playing around with him for the last couple months. We've had 4 races, but typical of my luck 2 of them were over for me in the first lap. The other 2 races went fairly well, and I had top 10 finishes in both. The big draw with these cars is that they are cheap to run and there are always 30 or so competitors at each event, so there is plentys of talent.

As far as the rest of this year goes, everything is still up in the air. I could run a couple more of these Spec Racer weekends, or maybe something in Koni Challenge will work out. Who knows, I may be not be involved at all. The future is a total unknown right now.
